Guide Visiting Efficiency: Well first off this is more a guide on how to make your visit efficient with regards to the Bonus Combo Bar.

Most thinks visiting can only give you reputation, additional energy, and a little more income… well that’s true if you are in a hurry, but if you got time to spare you can earn more too.

Upon logging you may use up all your energies so you can later on utilize the ones earned from visiting , yet, you may also just visit since energy from visiting stacks up even if your energy bar is full but this eliminates the energy you can get every minutes.

Also it is best that you learn the Techs related to visiting.

Guide proper:

When you visit always aim first for high yield crops and carefully observe which they drop. If not available aim for Adult livestocks since our target is the higher value of drops.

Example : prefer peanuts, peas, adult Ox, Apricots, over other, sunflower doesnt give food drop but gives higher coin or exp I think.

When picking normally practice to aim for the low value ones first, Hearts, then next is either Food or Stars depending which gives lesser movement on the combo bar, and last should be Coins but not in cases where the coin drop is just 1 piece. bulk coins like peanut drops can fill the first bonus bar depending on timing of your actions. note: collectibles are as low as hearts.

Main concern with the combo is the time limit dont worry about it

First you must choose from 2 options

1. X1+X2+X3 gain (X1+X2 gain if you don’t have tech upgrade)

with visit tech upgrade i can normally reach upto the outstanding combo level but rarely over it so if I’m level 10 that means:

for every neighbor i get 10×1+ 10×2 + 10X3 = 10×6 = 60 (if upgraded)

for every neighbor i get 10×1+ 10X2 = 10×3 = 30 (w/ no upgrades)

2. X1+X2+X3+X4+X5+X6+X7+X8+X9 OR simply X45 (full combo)

yep full combo gives times 1 + upto times 9 (don’t react yet if you still dont know how to do this)

so again if I’m level 10 that gives me 10 X 45 = 450 extra coins

if i have upgrades i get to full combo (completely fill-up Insane bar) with just 6-7 neighbors but without upgrades takes me 7-9 neighbors depending on the quality of drops.

Comparison:

Option 1 w/ Upgrades thats 60 extra coins per neighbor

Option 2 w/ Upgrades thats 450 extra coin every 6-7 neighbor

or 450/6 neighbor =75 to 450/7 neighbor = 64 extra coin/neighbor

Option 1 w/o Upgrades = 30 extra coins /neighbor

Option 2 w/o Upgrades = 450 extra coins every 7-9 neighbors

or 450/7 = 64 or 450/8 = 56 or 450/9 = 50 extra coins /neighbor

Now how to do it ?

Option 1 can be done in few ways but I’ll be discussing the easiest and surest way

-aim for the closely placed together targets to tend then tend fast and dont pick anything yet as much as possible or just aim for one or 2 lower contributing drop like the hearts or food,

-then accept/select the share bonus tool button but DO NOT select the publish yet

-now is the time to pick the items one by one if you can still see the combo bar then it’s better since you still can learn to observe the combo behavior

-if the pop-up window blocks the item simply drag the field not the pop-up.

then after picking all and the bar fully stopped or you had met your target combo then it’s time to publish or cancel then proceed to the next neighbor to do the samething.

Option 2

everything’s almost just the same with Option one but you got to save time by not publishing nor canceling at all, that way time is lessen by popping out again in the next neighbor

-after collecting drops one by one with timing move on to the next neighbor

-your combo level stays as long as you leave that publish box alone

-again just drag on the field to have better view and not the publish box.

after you are done with all the neighbor simply return home then refresh, if you dont want to refresh share bonus tool pop-out X the number of neighbor comes 1 after the other.

at level 40 I get 1,800 extra coin every 6 neighbor sometimes 5 neighbors, If i was able to mange enough the drops doing Option 2

Using Option 1 usually get 240 extra coins…

It may not matter that much to all but hope it helps somehow…

and this works too in your own homestead if you don’t have pop-out messages to stop time you can use the trade in share coin if you dont have anything else to trade use the market and the my stuff icons to stop the timer and reset from time to time but this is riskier and may not workwell during lag times.

Bonus advice is go for the eggplants which lets you regain 24 energies before harvest and one coin drop of it could fill bonus bar or if you like use the food and exp drop for the first bar then the coin for the next bar then observe and learn to be creative with the combo.

There are two inputs to the underlying equation. First is your natural rate of energy regeneration. For someone just starting out, this will be 12 energy per hour. This can be boosted by horses and mules, eating food, tending neighbor’s yards, or other bonuses.

Second is how many plots you want to invest. If you want to plant 100 plots of pumpkins, you will plant more than you can handle. However if you want to plant 10 plots of pumpkins, it’s under your 12 energy per hour limit.

Basically, the tl;dr is: if you look at the chart, the yellow areas represent where you want to aim to be planting to be efficient.

Disclaimers:

1. The spreadsheet does not factor in the random chance of a energy return from a lower level crop yet. Waiting for confirmed percentages and then I’ll add those in.

2. The spreadsheet assumes you don’t lose energy due to your max energy limits. In other words, it’s not practical to plant all the plots at one time, unless you have a huge amount of maximum energy. You will need to stagger your crops based on your maximum energy, so you don’t lose energy.

3. The spreadsheet doesn’t factor in the nuisance of groundhogs, which will cost you energy when harvesting (but yield xp, and coins in of itself).

Enjoy. (Will update it goes on)

I keep seeing my neighbors using up their 5 wishlist slots on hammer, nails, drill, paint and bricks. Unfortunately, what this means is that I don’t know what things I can send them that they need.

Keep in mind the method of sending that the wishlist uses. If you “send gift” from the neighbor page or from the list that appears in game, it comes out of your inventory. You’re essentially asking people to give you what they already have.

Everyone needs hammers, nails, drills, bricks and paint. Everyone*. Chances are, no one is going to use the “Send Gift” option to send you those things. People will send them as free daily gifts and they’ll select your link asking for more, but they are not going to give up their own personal stockpile because they, too, will need them.

Instead, your wishlist should be used for items that people will send you from their inventory. Specifically, collection items, but also extra cloth, ribbons, etc. (While these items are needed, they’re needed in smaller quantities and easier to accumulate.)

What I recommend is to look through your collections and determine which collections offer the best (or most needed) reward and focus on completing those. Adding your missing collection items to your wishlist increases your chances of receiving gifts, particularly those that will lead to helpful bonuses.

Further, to increase your chances of getting items and completing collections (again), consider focusing on collections that are simple to complete. Chickens, pumpkins, potatoes, fruit trees, etc. are all things that are harvested often and means that many people probably have multiple duplicates of the items in those collections.

Unless you have neighbors who are so high level that they’ve accumulated more finishing parts than they will ever need, you probably won’t see a difference in the number of hammers (etc.) that you receive. You will, however, see a difference in the number of gifts that you receive and the number of collections you’re able to turn in.

*Some people may have finished all the available buildings at the moment, but as soon as new buildings are released they will, once again, need those items. Some people may be willing to give them away now, not expecting new buildings anytime soon, but I suspect that as new content is added, they will stop sending those items from their own inventory.

Verify that JavaScript is enabled. Select here for instructions.

Close your other internet applications, especially any file-sharing applications or concurrent streaming video.

Plug in rather than use wireless.

Update your browser.

There are several documented issues surrounding Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) and Flash Content. If you are using IE8 we suggest that you try a new browser such as Safari 4, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome.

If you received the “Flash10c.ocx Error”:

Uninstall all Flash components. Select here for instructions.

Select here to download the latest flash player if you do not currently have it.

Reboot your system.

This will clear out any left over .ocx files.

Adjust your Flash settings to give Flash permission to store information on your computer. Instructions on how to accomplish this can be found here.

In FrontierVille, you can tame the wild and create your own special homestead and town. In order to build a thriving frontier town you must first gather the proper resources and clear your land. Chopping lumber trees will give you wood while harvesting fruit trees, animals, and crops can give you food, coin and energy. After you do some chopping and harvesting, you’ll have to begin constructing buildings to found a town on your very own FrontierVille homestead. You won’t be alone; you’ll have a spouse, and a family to raise too!

My Pioneer

You can change your Pioneer’s appearance by visiting your Family Album in the My Stuff menu. To access the Family Album, select on the My Stuff button on the lower right portion of the game screen and then select Family Album in the My Stuff menu. When the Family Album menu appears you may select which avatar you wish to edit by selecting on the Customize button. This will display the avatar customize screen, where you can modify skin, eye color, facial features and clothing, as you did at the beginning of the game.

Walking

You can make your pioneer walk by selecting on the map with the Tend tool selected. In this mode you can tell your pioneer to walk anywhere on the screen by selecting on that location. The Tend tool can be used to select, chop, clear, plant, or harvest various items on your homestead. Dragging your mouse over items with this tool will reveal details about the item.

Planting and Harvesting

Once you have cleared enough land, it is time to plant some crops and trees. A selection of seeds and trees are located in the market. Each crop and fruit tree in the market will tell you how much it costs to plant and how long it will take to mature.

Crops have a variety of maturation times ranging from 5 minutes to several days. When a crop matures, you must select on it to harvest. Harvesting crops rewards you with coins, food, and experience points. The wither time for a crop is twice what it takes to mature. Therefore, if a crop takes 1 hour to reach maturity, it will take 2 hours to wither after it reaches maturation. Once a crop has withered, you must clear or delete it. Clearing withered crops will not cost energy and will only yield half the initial coin investment.

Fruit trees start as baby saplings at the beginning and require watering periodically until they reach the fully-grown state. When they are fully grown, fruit trees will produce fruit. Harvested fruit trees will reward you with food and sometimes energy! Fruit trees never wither, but harvesting them regularly will provide you with more food and energy.

Lumber trees are available for purchase at the market. When a lumber tree becomes fully-grown, it may begin producing saplings. The larger the tree is, the more wood you can get for chopping it down! You can only use the move tool on small lumber trees.

Level and Experience

Actions like Plowing, Planting, Helping Friends, and Buying Frontier items (buildings, trees, animals) award experience points. As these points accumulate, your level increases and more items are unlocked.

Quests

Selecting on a quest icon, located on the left hand side of your game screen, will display details about your current quest. To complete a quest simply follow the instructions to meet the requirements. You will earn rewards when you meet that quests requirements! Questing is the only way to gain things such as a family.

Neighbors

Invite friends to be your neighbors by using the ‘My Neighbors’ tab or by selecting on the ‘Add Neighbor’ button on your friend bar. This button sends you to a page that allows you to send invitations for your friends to become neighbors. Your friend must accept the invitation in order to become your neighbor on FrontierVille. Having many neighbors will unlock many items and will allow you to visit more homesteads!

Visiting and Helping Neighbors

Neighbors are located on the friend bar at the bottom of the game screen. Selecting on a neighbor will open a menu that has the option to visit a friend. When visiting a friend you may help them with up to five actions on their homestead. Simply perform actions on your neighbor’s homestead as you would on your own. When your neighbor returns they may even see your avatar on their homestead! This is a great way to earn extra coin and experience.

Hiring Friends

Every day you may hire up to two of your neighbors to perform tasks on your homestead. To hire a neighbor, select on their neighbor icon on the friend bar on the bottom portion of the game screen. After selecting the neighbor, select the hire button and pay the required coin. After you’ve paid the coin, you may now instantly tend a cluster of objects on your homestead! Neighbors with higher Reputation Levels will be able to tend more objects at once.

Reputation Level

You earn reputation points every time you tend an object on a neighbor’s homestead. As you collect reputation points, you will increase your Reputation Level. A good reputation will make you more useful to friends that choose to hire you! It also lets you visit more friends each day and receive bonuses.

Gifting

You can receive gifts from your friends as well as send them gifts. To send a gift to a friend select on the ‘Free Gift’ tab or select on a friend’s icon on your friend bar. You may also send a friend a gift by going to your inventory menu. Gifts can be items such as collectibles, trees and animals. Be sure to add the items you really want to have to your Wishlist so you can share it with your friends! Send your friends gifts often, and they’ll be sure to return the favor!

Family

You can gain a spouse by completing various quests. You may also gain a child by completing quests but only after you have gained a spouse. If you wish to customize a family member simply go to the Family Album and select the customize button under the family member you wish to customize.

Varmints

Dangerous varmints have a habit of showing up when you’re trying to work. Performing actions on the frontier leaves you at risk of snake, groundhog, or even bear attacks! Varmints will make certain objects red on your homestead. The red objects will cost an extra energy to clear, tend, chop or harvest. To remove a varmint from your homestead you have to attack it the required number of times or chase it outside your homestead border.

Finishing Buildings

Each building has its own requirements. You must collect all of the needed materials in order to finish a building. There are 2 phases for building; constructing and finishing. First you must purchase the foundation from the Market. Once you have placed the foundation on your Homestead, you’ll need to start construction. The construction stage uses Wood and Energy. If you hover your mouse over the foundation you’ll see how many Whacks you’ll need to do and how much wood is needed for each whack; and each Whack is 1 energy.

Once you have completed all the whacks for the construction stage you’ll move to the finish stage. If you place your mouse over the construction, you’ll be asked to ‘Select to Finish’. Selecting will bring up the list of items you need to finish the building. If you don’t have all the items needed to finish you may ask your neighbors to send the item to you, or you may purchase the item with Horseshoes.

Crafting Workbench

Every building has a crafting workbench menu where players may turn resources and items into new items that are required for quests and various tasks around the homestead. To access a crafting menu you must first own a building and then select on the “Go Inside” button on that building’s context menu.

Resource Objects

Many actions you make, on any homestead, will result in resource objects dropping into the game world. Selecting on resource objects before they fade away will display a Bonus bar on the top right corner of your screen. Different kinds of resources fill up the Bonus bar at different rates. Each time the bonus bar fills, you get more and more coins! Plan carefully because as you build a larger bonus streak it becomes harder and harder to fill. Remember to do this quickly because if you wait too long you’ll lose your steak bonus and will have to start over again.

Tend Tool

When you select on the arrow, you enter Tend mode. Now when you hover over a pine tree it will tell you how many chops you’ll need to harvest the tree. You may also use the tool to make the selected avatar interact with trees, animals, crops, varmints, or buildings by selecting on the object. Some items, such as buildings, will activate a context menu with several options you may select. You may use the Tend tool to queue actions for your avatar to perform by selecting on multiple objects.

Move Tool

The Move tool will allow you to move buildings, decorations, animals, fruit trees, and crops around your homestead. To activate the Move tool you must first select on the Tend tool to activate the tool selection menu. When the tool selection menu appears, you may then select the Move tool from that menu. To deactivate the Move tool, simply select on the Tend tool.

Delete Tool

The Delete tool will allow you to delete or sell buildings, decorations, animals, fruit trees, and crops on your homestead. To activate the Delete tool to you must first select on the Tend tool to activate the tool selection menu. When the tool selection menu appears, you may then select the Delete tool from that menu. To deactivate the Delete tool, simply select on the Tend tool.

Rotate Tool

The Rotate tool will allow you to rotate buildings, decorations, and animals on your homestead. To activate the Rotate tool you must first select on the Tend tool to activate the tool selection menu. When the tool selection menu appears, you may then select the Rotate tool from that menu. To deactivate the Rotate tool, simply select on the Tend tool.

Cancel All Actions Tool

The Cancel All Actions tool can be used to cancel any action the avatar is either performing or is about to perform. If you accidentally queue an action for your avatar you may select the Cancel All Actions tool and the avatar will not perform the action. The Cancel All Actions tool is located on the bottom right portion of the game screen.

Market Menu

Select the Market Icon to open the Market menu. You can purchase a variety of items from the Market menu:

Seeds

Purchasing seeds is the first step when planting crops. Crops have various costs, maturity times, and payouts.

Trees

Fruit and lumber trees are available in their sapling states. Fruit trees require periodic watering to reach full maturity while lumber trees will grow on their own. Like crops, all trees take various amounts of time to reach another maturity state. Trees will not wither. Only fruit trees are sellable, lumber trees require chopping.

Animals

Animals are available in their youngest states. Animals require periodic tending for them to grow. After you tend the animal a certain number of times, they will grow larger until they are fully-grown. You must sell animals using the Delete tool to remove them from your homestead.

Buildings

Buildings are required for many quests. Finishing buildings unlock new game features! To get a building you must first purchase a foundation and work on it. When a building has a complete framework, you must ask your friends to help you finish. After enough friends have helped, your building will be complete! Completed buildings allow you to collect daily bonuses and unlock new craftable items!

Decorations

Decorations are objects you place on your homestead to make it your own personal space. Decorations award you with experience when purchased and some are required to complete quests.

Meals

Meals are items that you purchase to replenish your energy. Meals can be purchased using food or horseshoes.

My Stuff Menu

The My Stuff menu is located on the bottom right portion of your game screen. You will have access to other important game menus within the My Stuff menu.

Inventory

The Inventory menu is a place to keep accepted gifts and rewards gained from quests. The Inventory menu is also a place to add items to your Wishlist.

Collections

The Collection menu is where you go to see your progression in completing collections. You gain collectible items by performing most tasks on your homestead. A collection is complete when you own all items within a collection. Turning in a collection will give you special rewards. Be sure to add collectibles you need to your Wishlist!

Gifts

The Gifts menu is where you go to view the gifts received from friends. Remember to send them a thank you gift by selecting the “Send Free Thank You” button.

The bonus system is a nice way of earning extra coins. Here are a few tips on getting the highest return. Beware: this takes a lot of selecting and may not suit your style of playing.

How does FrontierVille bonus meter reward work?

Answer: The bonus meter will start going up when you select the first item that was dropped after performing an action. There are 9 stages, giving more coins as you reach them. The bonus has a one-on-one relation with your level.

The exact order and associated coin bonuses are: (Courtesy of FrontierJack)

=> Pick one item and the bonus bar starts to come out and the reward comes after filling each bar like this:

fill BONUS = x1 (Fill as in fully to next level bar)

fill EXCELLENT =x2

fill AMAZING =x3

fill OUTSTANDING =x4

fill HOLY SMOKES =x5

fill EXTREME =x6

fill OMGEEZERS =x7

fill UNSTOPPABLE =x8

fill INSANE =x9 You may not notice this but its’ true. It’s just that sometimes the reward text doesn’t appear but if you observe closely it does give x9 reward. When in doubt check it or harvest things that don’t drop coins and you’ll see that after the INSANE bar is full your coins will add up a value of x9 of your level

After Insane the counter will roll over to Bonus again.

Example:

If you are level 10 and get your bonus meter completely flowing until it rolls over to Bonus again you will have gained: 360 extra coins.

A level 15 player will get 540 coins for reaching the same bonus level.

Notes:

Beware: this takes a lot of selecting and may not suit your style of playing.

The bonus meter has a timer function; after some time it will start flashing red. If you haven’t picked up a reward in time you start from Bonus again.

Higher-level players will usually have built up enough coins and can plant crops that return more from one harvest than the entire bonus roll-over.

Tips:

Starting Pioneers: When working on your neighbors’ Homesteads you should be able to reach stage Excellent every time if you plan your action carefully. Tend to items that are closely together. If your avatar has to walk a long way your timer will run out before you can pick up the next reward.

Experienced Pioneers: Before harvesting a large number of crops use the “move” tool to rearrange your ripe crops in neat lines. Leave a space of two plots between lines in case a groundhog pops up. That way you will be able to let ignore the critter and continue harvesting in an area not affected by it.

Additional info supplied by IronBlack

Since you pick up the the items and not your avatar, you can extend the duration of you timer by doing it another way.

If the action drops 3 items (1 xp, 1 food, 1 coin), only pick up one item at a time until you reach your destination and start the action IE select one, wait 3 seconds, select another, wait 3 seconds, etc.

You can really extend your timer that way without having to move things around. Although doing it this way is riskier since sometimes the lag can get you.

I’m noticing a lot of new players are coming to the forums asking for help with a lot of in-game issues. I figured I’d try to help and create an early stage in the game walk through.

First thing is first, Frontierville teaches you how to clear grasses and how to harvest crops but not much else. I thought I would help you all with the rest of this work! After Zynga leaves you to work on your homestead, you will notice you have several goals to complete. You may do as you wish with the goals but personally I find the game boring without them. I complete the goals as quickly as possible considering it’s a type of “story-line” Pink/purple arrows will point you over to your goal pages (located on the far left of your game page going down vertically.) Your goals will be something simple such as “Clear 25 grasses from your homestead” or “Find a pot of clover tea.” After finishing both of these goals (and those two don’t go together) you will be given a small reward and then given a set of new goals!

A wish list is a list your neighbors and friends can view in order to see which items you’re looking for or wishing for! It appears as if only SOME items can be placed into your wish list. Down below are step by step instructions on how to add those limited items to your list! (Pictures included for easier explaining)

Step 1: On the bottom right corner, select the backpack icon also known as “MY STUFF.”

Step 2: select on “inventory” on the bottom left.

Opening up your inventory should give you a page or multiple pages of things you’ve collected off feeds and/or Zynga has given you such as when completing a goal, you will be rewarded a sheep or a tree.

On the second page of my personal inventory, you will notice that there is a +page icon which looks like this: . If you select this tiny +page icon it will automatically add that particular item into your wish list! I’m unsure as to why not all items have this wishlist icon but I can only assume it’s because they need to be crafted by hand I hope that clears at least a little bit up!

Completing goals early and their possible consequences

I’ve noticed a lot of you upset because you will clear grasses and/or skulls and then be given a goal to do the same, regardless to if you have grasses/skulls on your land or not. Here is a simple solution! Instead of clearing the grasses and skulls from YOUR land, why not visit a neighbor and help them clear theirs! That way you’re gaining some coins, food, XP, reputation points and energy but leaving your own grasses for when you are given the goals to clear them. You shouldn’t be bothering your neighbors any because they can easily “dismiss” your offer and you are still rewarded with what you found on their farm! No harm done

Crafting buildings

Once you reach a certain point in the game you’ll be asked to craft together a cabin, school house, barn, inn and even a general store! You can piece together these fun buildings with help from your neighbors! Neighbors can send you free gifts such as paint, hand drills, nails and hammers! These items will go directly into your building-in-the-making and until it is finished they will also sit inside your inventory, so do your best to ignore them if you’re a neat freak!

Special little letters

You will notice special letters that appear on your farm every once in awhile. These are from your husband/wife to be if it wasn’t already obvious . You will have to finish a few set of goals before your husband/wife joins you on your homestead. While your husband/wife may share the same energy bar as your avatar, they do come in handy when you are trying to do things the fast way! For instance, you can put your avatar to work chopping wood while you select your husband and have him feed the chickens! Two things done at once can make your homestead chores much simpler.

Harvesting markers

You will notice yellow arrows pointing at your animals and sapling trees. These yellow arrows direct you to which animal is ready for harvesting and which is not.

Pesky little critters!

While clearing grasses and chopping wood (If you decide to chop the trees down on your homestead) you will occasionally run into a gopher, bear or snake! You’ll have to scare or whack these critters several times before they eventually run off! Not only do they give you loads or coins, food, XP and energy from beating them but you also receive a reward for getting rid of them!

Gaining energy!

To gain energy you can do several things. First off, you can select on the market button located on the far bottom right corner. Select the energy tab under the market and purchase a light snack! The light snack will cost you 25 food pieces and in return you are given 3 energy points! Next, you can easily enough gain FREE energy by visiting your neighbors homes. ONCE a day, everyday, you can help out on your neighbors homesteads. As a “reward” of sorts, you are given 5 energy, 50 coins and 5 cloth (which will come in handy later in the game, when you craft goods.) Energy points (which look like blue lightening bolts) pop out from just about everywhere! I’ve found them in trees, grasses and crops! One extra way to gain energy is by planting crops. If you’re just starting off in the game and have low energy I would recommend planting clover (5 minute crop) and tomatoes (15 minute crop.) When these plants are fully grown you will be given another 5 minutes / 15 minutes to harvest them before they wither! If you are lucky enough to harvest them before they wilt, you will be given coins, energy and food which, as I stated above, can be traded in for a light snack!

Prices in the market

Now, let’s say you want to purchase the mule or horse from the animals tab in the market! You will notice that it asks for two things in order to purchase these animals. Horseshoes are the exact same thing as Farm-Cash, when referring to Farmville. In order to recieve your mule or horse, you’ll have to pay 3 horseshoes and 2,000 coins.

chopping down trees

when cutting down your giant oak trees and evergreen trees, please remember that they will only grow back (in that exact spot) if you LEAVE the stump in the ground. Otherwise, little saplings will start to grow in another random place around your homestead!

Clothes, presents, cribs?

I’ve noticed a lot of you very confused as to what the items inside your buildings are for. Let me tell you here, if you like to play the game by yourself these will be spoilers. I’m going to make a map of sorts to explain it easier to you all.

Cabin:

cloth + coints = clothes

General store:

Ribbon + cloth = present

ribbon + clothes (made in cabin) = fancy clothes

covered wagon:

wood + coins = plank

wood + cloth = fire

Barn:

plank + tools (given to you when hired by a neighbor) = sawhorse

cloth + sawhorse = crib

Each of these items listed above need to be crafted some way or another in order to complete your goals! For instance, you need ribbon (gifted from neighbors) and clothes (made in your cabin) to make fancy clothes, which I’m assuming from my experience, fancy clothing is your wedding gowns. Every single one of these is used in a goal of some sort. You CAN craft some before goals since it’s easy enough to obtain them.

Nice neighbors

You will notice at any given moment neighbors will start appearing on your farm! If you hover your cursor over them the grasses, trees or animals around them will glow blue! This means that they are wanting to help you with those tasks. If you decide you don’t want help with those things, you can simply select on their avatar and select “dismiss.” Make sure you choose carefully though, because there is no second chances!

Buying energy

To buy energy, open up the market and select on the energy tab. Once there and ready, glance up at your food count (center of top screen) It should be a picture of a piece of pie with a number beside it. You can purchase 3 energy for 25 food pieces, 100 food pieces refills your energy by 15.

Picking up energy, coins, XP and wood

These items will drop out of animals, trees, grasses and crops. You’ll notice they will scatter about as you harvest or clear things. Normally, I select each one to pick it up but I wanted to inform you that you CAN leave it on the ground. They will be added to your count if left alone.

Weather

On the bottom left of your homestead, there will be a sign saying “(Names) homestead” and beside this will be a weather sign! You can select that little sign to view your frontiers weather. Today, my weather is cool and stormy. I get 10 extra energy for selecting and I get a “tip” which explains that while cutting down trees today, I have a chance to yield extra energy and collectibles. What cool things is your weather giving you?
